“Charles Webster Hawthorne: Paintings from the Collection of Doug and Kay Ivester” Online Exhibition

On loan from the collection of Mr. and Mrs. Doug Ivester in the Brenau Downtown Center are 30 oil paintings and watercolors by American artist Charles Webster Hawthorne (1872-1930).  Hawthorne was renowned for his portraits and genre paintings, and was instrumental in the founding of the Cape Cod School of Art in 1899.
